Light Clipboard collects nothing. It has no account, no server and no analytics. The snippets you save stay on your device.
What the app stores
The text snippets you create are written to storage on your device, in a private container shared between the app and its keyboard. They are not transmitted anywhere, and the developer cannot see them.
What the keyboard does
The Light Clipboard keyboard needs Full Access for one reason: without it, iOS stops the keyboard from reading the snippets the app saved. That is the only thing the permission is used for.
The keyboard does not record, store or transmit anything you type. It makes no network requests of any kind.
What is not collected
- No personal information, name or email address
- No keystrokes, no typing history, no clipboard contents beyond snippets you deliberately save
- No usage analytics, crash telemetry or advertising identifiers
- No location, contacts, photos or device identifiers
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. The app receives only whether an entitlement is active. Payment details are handled by Apple and never reach this app or its developer. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes every snippet along with it. Because nothing is stored off the device, there is no other copy to request or erase.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
